Lessons are built around safety first: comfort in the water, floating, breathing, entry and exit, stroke basics, and steady confidence. Students are evaluated during Lesson 1 so they are placed where they can progress without pressure.

Effective 2026 Season
Student information
Student name, age, parent or guardian information, phone, email, preferred instruction language, and any medical conditions or fears should be submitted before Lesson 1.
Payment terms
Full prepayment is required before Lesson 1 to reserve instructor time and pool spot. Payments are processed securely through PayPal, card, or eligible Pay Later options.
Expectations
Students should arrive on time with proper swimwear, goggles, towel, and swim cap for long hair. Medical conditions, water trauma, or special needs must be disclosed before Lesson 1.
Refunds and makeups
Full refund is available if written cancellation is received before Lesson 2 begins, minus the cost of Lesson 1. After Lesson 2 begins, no refunds are offered for cancellations, missed sessions, illness, or voluntary withdrawal. One makeup lesson is included per package with 24+ hours written notice.
Weather
Lessons run in light rain. If pool closes due to thunder, lightning, or unsafe conditions, lessons under 40 minutes completed will be rescheduled. Lessons 40+ minutes completed count as a full lesson.
Risk acknowledgment
Swimming involves inherent risks including drowning, injury, and illness. Participants voluntarily assume all risks and release Yosef Sherman, AGezinterShvim, and any pool facility used from claims except in cases of gross negligence.
